What were we really expecting? There aren't Bourne levels of story depth, and it's one of those movies like Now You See Me 2 and Office Christmas Party, where the stupider things get, the better the movie is, and things do get pretty stupid. I'm talking DJ recruited for an elite killing squad because he's 'cool' and Neymar disarming an armed assailant with a tissue dispenser dumb. Even so, there are several ways this thing could have been better. Samuel L Jackson (still on Miss Peregrine's form) is wasted. Toni Collette's Jane Marke is an awful character mimicking an awful character (in Fast 7's Mr Nobody) and she's still the only woman who isn't objectified at all. However Vin Diesel has rolled back the years, and Donnie Yen is on top ass whopping form. Dustbin.
