Usage data — how you interact with the app, to help us improve the service

Legal basis for processing
We process your data under UK GDPR on the basis of contract performance (to fulfil your orders); legitimate interests (to improve our service); and consent (for optional features such as location sharing).
Sharing your data
Cinema partners — we share your order details with the relevant cinema to prepare your food. We do not share your payment details or full account profile

Legal requirements — if required by law or court order
Data retention
We retain your account data while your account is active. Order history is retained for 3 years for accounting purposes. Request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].
You can also request account deletion at cinesnack.co.uk/delete-account.html. This page remains available even if you no longer have the app installed.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Email us at [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use essential cookies only — necessary to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Payments are handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant. We will notify you and the ICO in the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights.
Children
CineSnack is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
We will notify you of significant changes by email or via the app.
